I can see the consternation on your face, NaBloPoMo, what the heck is NaBloPoMo, is Linda talking alien now? Nope, no alien or Klingon spoken here thank you very much. In the blog world NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Posting Month. What this means is you sign up to participate and then you make sure you post on your blog every day during the month of November. You can find out all about it here.
Yes I’m aware that November has 30 days in the month and Lord knows I've been a lousy blogger these past months and with the problems I've had lately with my modem and wireless router I should be the last person in the blog world to do NaBloPoMo but.... that's what challenges are for and I've thrown my hat into the NaBloPoMo ring.
The challenge came from Michelle over at Bleeding Espresso. She has participated in NaBloPoMo in the past but is taking a break this year as she has a lot of irons in the fire. She did ask her blog readers ‘What would you commit to doing every day this November?’
So I accepted this challenge and hope that I will become a more consistent blogger and not the blubbering idiot that I fear I will be at the end of the month. You see not only do I work full time but I’m also helping put together a Christmas Tea at my church for 300 wonderful ladies the first weekend in December. I also haven’t planted my winter flowers or veggie garden yet and time is running out!
I won't guarantee insightful or meaningful posts these next 30 days but I will work hard to meet this challenge. Thank you Michelle for encouraging your readers.
Let the blogging begin…
