Today is my parents 51st wedding anniversary. Wow, hard to believe it's been 51 years, I'm very proud of their accomplishment. In this day and age when people change spouses as often as they change shoes, it's quite an accomplishment.
Last year my sisters and I threw a big 50th bash, fun was had by all. Here is a picture of them on their 'big' day in 1957. Isn't it a great photo. They both were beautiful people then and still are now. It's nice to know I have good genes to pull from, I may need them in the coming years.

Linda "Pete" it is wonderful of you to remember our 51st in this way. Doesn't seem that long ago that you girls put together the wonderful celebration for us and surprised us with the arrival of our cousins from Australia. There aren't any better, caring, considerate daughters than you three. We have been so blessed.
Kath, Tam, and I had fun putting together your 50th Anniversary party, though I think they were ready to send me home to Arizona with all my nit-picky details.
It was a great celebration, one to be honored.
