celebrate & giveaway

Today is the one year anniversary of the start of my blog, Ice Tea For Me and it is also my 100th post. To celebrate these two occasions I decided I would have a drawing.

The winner of the drawing will receive some wonderful goodies from the South Western USA. I will mail the box of goodies to where ever the winner lives and if by chance you live close to where I will be traveling this May (Italy, France, Switzerland, or Germany) I may be able to deliver it in person.

3. Comment as an entry and also to let me know that you’ve done either or both of the above by 11:59 p.m. CMT Saturday, February 28th. You can comment as many times as you like, but only one comment will count for the drawing.

august 24, 1957

Today is my parents 51st wedding anniversary. Wow, hard to believe it's been 51 years, I'm very proud of their accomplishment. In this day and age when people change spouses as often as they change shoes, it's quite an accomplishment.

Last year my sisters and I threw a big 50th bash, fun was had by all. Here is a picture of them on their 'big' day in 1957. Isn't it a great photo. They both were beautiful people then and still are now. It's nice to know I have good genes to pull from, I may need them in the coming years.
