Its day 12 in NaBloPoMo, read about it here, my challenge to myself to blog every day of November. I feel like I’ve hit a road block whether I don’t want to sit and write or I truly don’t have anything to say.
Well, it’s getting late and I’m getting close to not making my deadline so I did what any other desperate blogger would do… post photos.
I decided to look through my photos of my first trip to Italy in September 2004 and post some photos that I haven’t posted before but bring back memories.
I’m sorry this is a lame post but I hope you enjoy the photos.

A group of people inside the colosseum singin
hallelujah with a pastor playing the guitar, it
was a serene moment. (Rome)
A guide told us that the grooves in the steps of the
court house in the Forum was where games were
played while ‘paid’ jurors would wait to be called in,
not sure if it’s true or not but it sure sounded good. (Rome)
First roasted chestnuts I’d ever had, they were yummy. (Lucca)
Vegetable stand at Rialto Bridge. (Venice)
A welcome sight after a grueling hike from
over’s locks on Ponte Vecchio. (Florence)
Bramasole from Under the Tuscan Sun. (Cortona)
Ceramic pklatters I purchased in Gubbio.

Looks like you had a wonderful trip to Italy. They have removed the lovers locks from the Ponte Vecchio now I wish I had seen them, so romantic. Good luck with the NaBloPoMo thingy, I would find that really tough, and thanks for the kind comment on our blog. amanda
Hi Amanda - I'm thankful that I was able to see the locks and that I also took a photo as they were gone when I made it back to Italy.
Thanks for your well wishes on NaBloPoMo, I'm half way there...
